![]() After just seeing him demolish another field, Afrashad is going to win the BC Sprint. I'm not sure if it's bold enough, but this horse is a freak.

I'd love to see him back too. I was just giving out a "bold prediction". There ain't no guarantees in this business. I have the highest respect for Jim Jerkens regarding his ability as a trainer. When I find out what's in the works, I'll post it. With that said, I also have lots of respect for Todd P. and Keirin Mc. Frank LaBocetta is a trainer that is way too often overlooked, as are Stanley Hough and Linda Rice....and Shug is going to have one-hell-of a toga-meet. There's another prediction. btw, I really like Minister's Bid. I hope he does really well. Deputy Minister's have been my hopes for quite a while...I've bred two to his son. DTS |

![]() David Junior off the board in the Coral Eclipse (..... unlike Aussie Rules).
Alexandrova wins the Irish Oaks. Iffraaj wins the Darley July Cup. Peeress and Maraahel join Dylan, Araafa and Pride, who each add another Group 1 win this summer. Pride hits the board in the Arc. My Miss Storm Cat defeats the lovely and talented Dubai Escapade in the Princess Rooney. (Okay not really sure about that last one, but.....) ![]() Last edited by my miss storm cat : 07-06-2006 at 01:35 PM. |

Alexandrova did indeed win the Oaks (and another Group 1 yesterday) but the rest of mine have sucked. How about you all? I'll stand by my Pride-in-the-Arc prediction. Anyone wanna make some new ones? Must ponder..... |

![]() I'll say that I think the BC winners will be:
Sprint-Henny Hughes/Bordonaro Distaff-Mo Cuishle/Fleet Indian Turf-Hurricane Run Mile-Cacique F/M Turf-Ouija Board/Film Maker Classic-Bernardini/Discreet Cat Hurricane Run becomes the first horse to win the Arc/BC Turf double and is named 2006 World Horse of the Year. Lukas wins one of the 2yo races at the BC. There will be a grade one in NY with only three horses.
