To all the members who came to Belmont today
Thanks for a great time. To those that I met for the first time today, it was great to meet you and to those that I had before, good to see you again.

I'm sorry to have missed everyone except Byalip and her handsome hubby (lovely meeting you!). I wandered the paddock, but for all that attendance was down, the paddock area still seemed pretty crowded to me and I couldn't see anyone.
It didn't stop a really nasty man, whose teeth were so thick with gunk that for a moment I thought he was wearing braces from hitting on me, though. I could have lived without that. Why me, God? Why me?

I was so annoyed to have forked out the $$$ for reserved seats and then to not have a Triple Crown on the line (after Smarty I can't do another day of being jammed up against the fence for two hours before the race so I take the gamble and buy seats), but surprise! It turned out to be a good thing after all.

I would like to say this fine poster has not missed Saratoga in the last 7 years.I have never made my presence known,but this year may be different.
