Default Week of 4/23 Top 20 Ballot

My 'Racing Dispatch' Ballot for Week of 4/23

1. Scat Daddy: Most likely to 'run his race'
2. Street Sense: Returns home to scene of best effort
3. Any Given Saturday: Bred and built for Classic run
4. Hard Spun: Pedigreed for 10f; Pace scenario will suit style
5. Curlin: Likely fave has ton of history to overcome

6. Nobiz Like Shobiz: Yet to explode at 3; Would be no surprise
7. Dominican: Miller runner real thing; Derby first dirt start as gelding
8. Zanjero: Asmussen bulldog is late-running, hard-trying
9. Circular Quay: Forget 8 week layoff, pace not suiting deep closers bigger issue
10. Cowtown Cat: DistHumor colt's name is diminishing deserved respect

11. Great Hunter: Dull Blue Grass effort adds to dim Cali runners' prospects
12. Tiago: Another anti-pace player and that SA Derby looks slow
13. Liquidity: May regret not having higher; Expect improved effort
14. Slew's Tizzy: Eligible to come after stunning Lexington run
15. Sam P.: Will be better laying back but still appears cut beneath best

16. Stormello: Honest colt fired best shots early; Currin erred badly with him
17. Cobalt Blue: Rush job for Merv was mistake; Derby run seems silly
18. Imawildandcrazyguy: In if Sedgefield passes; Has chance to be 8th
19. Storm In May: Kaplan's other, better runner is wasted here
20. Teufelsberg: Sanders after BG collapse: "just what we wanted"

Curlin, Dominican, Cowtown Cat in Kasept's top 10.
plus Tiago, Slew's Tizzy, SamP, Imawild, Storm In May, Teufelsberg.

These horses were part of "all others" in the parimutual KD Future Wager, Pool 1. Don't know if they add up to the breakeven 28% chance to win the race that the Pool 1 odds 2.6-1 demand.
