Platinum Horse Racing Ventures LLC, a new hedge fund that seeks returns on thoroughbreds, started accepting investors this month. The fund is spearheaded by Susan and John Moore, longtime professional horse owners.

thank you michael ivarone... you just keep giving and giving to this sport with your great ideas!!!

500K entry, tied up for 3 years, 2% off the top, and 20% off profits. You could do a lot more with 1.5M over 3 years....like buy 300 5k claimers

This is the first big "investment" racing effort I've seen concentrating on black-typing fillies rather than colts.

Just make sure the $5k claimers are La-breds or Jersey-breds.
