4 and 2 at near your opponent's 10 yard line. Your team is in the process of making a gallant comeback from two scores down at home and you are achieving the offense mostly through the air. You have perhaps the best receiving tight end of our generation and a 5' 6" tailback that catches well and can not be guarded in space. You have a 6' 3 rising young star at wide receiver. You are facing the Baltimore ravens who have the best middle linebacker since Mike singltetary against the run but maybe a little suspect against the pass as his age has advanced.

So what does Norv do? He runs a DIVE...AT RAY LEWIS. Perhaps one of the dumbest calls I have ever seen and at best its tied for dumbest because i cant imagine anything being dumb-er.

Norv is pretty dumb and I wasn't crazy about the call. But that being said, it was a hall of fame read and play by a hall of fame player.

norv is the #1 reason that san diego won't go as far as they should. some guys make excellent coordinators, but have no business being a head coach-norv is one of those guys.

i can't help but think that zorn may be in over his head in d.c. i wonder how long snyder will give him to figure things out? i don't get how a team can move down the field-but can't finish it and get in the end zone. the offense isn't the problem, but the red zone offense certainly is!

Norv's brother isn't very good either... must run in the family. You can tell almost exactly what he's going to run each time they line up, no imagination at all.

I thought Tony Gonzalez played for Atlanta?

That was a very unusual call. Maybe he thought that they would think that nobody would possibly make a call that stupid and surprise them?
