Default R.I.P. Gary Papa
For those of you with ties to the Philadelphia Area, like Steve, this was a crushing blow right on the heels of us losing Harry Kalas.

Gary Papa was a class act, and a sportscaster for Channel 6 WPVI-TV for 28 years. He will be missed.

I'm not sure. The coverage I saw last night did not mention his parents or other family. I do know he was originally from Buffalo, New York and he moved to Philly at about age 25 to pursue sports broadcasting.
