I think over a 15 year peroid he was out of the top 10 only 1 or two times

Also some of his prime years were during WWII

My golfing idol, hands down. Very sad I never saw him play, but have read everything available on him. I even have a 1955 LIFE magazine with Mr. Hogan on the cover
