Only one player could figure out a difficult Preakness Day card and that would be Ruffian.
She was the only player to show a profit on the day and it was a monster day for her as she
collected over an $800 profit on the afternoon. Cruzan was the only other player to cash a
ticket but it still left him $45 short of profitability. Ruffian had two winners on the day that
paid over $30. Lexitonian paid $36 to win in race 11 and Everfast rallied for second in the
Preakness and he paid $32 to place. As a result Ruffian also got a Points / ROI sweep
and collects the Saturday sweep bonus. Congrats Ruffian. Nicely played. Following are
the unofficial results. There were quite a few "almosts" so check your scores. See you
all next week wherever Ruffian ships us. On the bright side we can only lose a $100 next
week. "Hang on Tom" (the assistant started sure did).....better days are coming.
