Default After Market This Wednesday At Gulfstream

I was very excited to see he's running this wednesday in the seventh race... i thought this horse was a super horse, and then something went wrong at deleware a good come back in the race could lead to alot bigger things last year after he won a stakes race at saratoga bill mott said he thinks this horse could turn into a arlington million type horse... there are some heavy hitters in this race and i think a mile might be to short for him but i dont think mott real feels he has to win this race, this is just a real nice prep vs some good competition, the horse is so lightly raced that i feel this is a perfect spot

After Market will probably be a strong favorite Wednesday, and he may well win, and Mott is as good as there is at developing horses, but this horse beat extremely modest fields under extraordinarily optimal conditions. In his first start last year he sat a sweet trip and beat perennial loser Operation Red Dawn. In his second start he sat an even easier trip behind a duel and ran down Carnera, who was not only inside of the duel but also broke slowly. While Carnera is OK he is hardly a world beater. In the Hall of Fame he took advantage of a field devoid of speed and cantered along on a slow pace and beat the modest Spider Power. Now, while something obviously went wrong at Delaware, perhaps he didn't like the soft ground, he came into that race with the previously described dressed up record.

Wednesday's race is an interesting one, as Einstein also returns, having not run since a close fourth finish behind English Channel and Cacique ( while finishing ahead of Gorella ). Einstein holds the distinction of having the second worst Grade 1 win last year, with Bishop Court Hill denying him the top spot, when he set a literally crawling pace in the mystifyingly rated Grade 1 Pan American last year at Gulfstream. However, Einstein was improving before something obviously happened, and his return adds great intrigue to the race.

bill mott is a very conservative trainer, so when he mentions arlington million after only 3 starts i think it's something to get excited about, win or lose as long as he runs a good race this horse is in a graded stakes next time out

Everybody from here to Wiscokee talked about this horse like he was Lure or something. That field he beat at Saratoga in the Hall of Fame was laughable. They were so slow that After Market had to make the lead, LOL!

Wait until he sees the speed of Electric Light and Touched by Madness. No sir, he wont be anywhere near those 2.

ok... the horse is so lightly raced and your already saying hes overrated, i just dont see how. great breeding, great connections and has has only one bad race in his career which i think its obvious something went wrong in, because were just seeing him now for the first time since

Okay, you probably dont live in Saratoga where people worship Mott. This guy was the talk of the town here all summer. Just dont think hes ever done anything to earn it. We'll see how he fares against these horses who know how to win.

He is very beatable in my opinion, Einstein, Tiganello, and Electric Light all are faster and have a shot...

It is more like WHO IS GOING TO BEAT Riz Sauvage in the 5th? and who is going to beat a Riz Sauvage/Vim N Vigor exacta

Einstein is my sentimental pick. He gave me the biggest win of my betting life by winning the last leg of the Magna Pick 5 last year

Default gun salute at Tampa tomorrow

the Mottster is spreading out to Tampa tomorrow, with Gun Salute entered in an Allowance race. I saw he was also nominated to one of the Gulfstream stakes, but guess he also needs a prep, but why ship to Tampa ? Whats he prepping for in 3-4 weeks ?
