Passed Over -- saw this one run last year in a low-level claimer at Delaware. Came on very strong at the end on a wet track, thought the jock may have made a pre-mature move. So I put him on my stable mail. He moves down to Tampa, runs one over the sand and comes in 7th. Next time out, on 1/9, he wins a $6250 claimer -- pays $52.80. Kicking myself, I missed the boat. Entered 1/21 in a $16,000 claimer, was an alternate so I think he just didn't get in. Entered tomorrow, 2nd race, at the same level he won. Won't get 25-1 anymore, but is worth considering at his 5-1 ml, especially since it looks like the track'll be at least damp.

Shawdow...good luck with that bet. I have found I have very little luck with Delaware shippers. They tend to be very liberal in the use of "medications" in Del. |

Besides, Passed Over did his best running at Tampa, not Del.

He'll be 5-2 or so today.
A horse that just won and is running back at the same level won't go off at 5-1(once again the M/L guy at Tampa is clueless). If the track is wet, he may go lower. |

Not besmirching the joint at all, I used to bet DP all the time. I just have found many horses don't run quite as well after shipping out of there. Im sure it is just coincidence![]() |
