Sitting here 15 minutes from the greatest racetrack in America and looking at ice everywhere and was wondering what restaurants you guys/gals prefer when in Saratoga?
I really like the Ripe Tomato and Longfellows. Any other thoughts? |

I know it is on th expensive side but I like 43 Phila Street and also Doc's Steakhouse.
Although last year when I went to Saratoga we didn't go out to eat as we stayed at my sister in laws house in Delmar, NY. On the + side it left more money for wagering. Until that Rat Bast**D cop stopped me for speeding just north of the "twins." Hopefully I can avoid the man this year and wager some of the savings. |

Tiznows is pretty good too.
I hate mashed potatoes but theirs were really good and the steak was perfectly cut and prepared. |

There are three good places to eat in Saratoga....Chez Sophie, Lanci's and the Beekman Street Bistro.
And, of course, Beverly's for breakfast.....but who has time for breakfast. |
