![]() This Saturday we will follow the who's who list of jockeys and trainers and head to Franklin, Kentucky for an all turf day of racing. The slots and Kentucky TB Development Fund aided purses for 6 of the races will be $2,000,000 or more.
Expect very full fields and challenging races to handicap. We will be playing races 2 through 11, finishing with the Grade 2 Kentucky Turf Cup Invitational Stakes. Hope to see you in the starting gate. |

![]() I know I was shooting for the Colonial Downs venue this weekend because I was going to the races, but the races in Kentucky were definitely more profitable. I think I may have bet twice for a couple of chalky wins, but the experience was the winner!
I talked to the people around me about horseracing and how they became hooked. On one side of me were brothers who have been taking racing trips for 30 years together. On the other side was a woman who got her family to come to the races with her. They were not interested in racing so we had a great talking about it. ![]() I'm posting this because it was just what I needed...that infusion of enthusiasm. I don't know anyone else--outside online friends- who follows horse racing, so it was a much needed trip. I recommend! |
