Derby Day Extras here . . . updated 4/29

As usual, I will post, as a reminder to most, the Derby Extras here.

To respond to Cal and RQ's exchange we've always included the Oaks - Derby Double as one of the four wagers. We haven't included any other races on Oaks Day. I'm a KISS advocate so lets keep it this way for this year

Derby Extras . . .

* We will have a $200 wallet for your four wagers of which one can be the Oaks-Derby Double.
* Points awarded for both contests will be doubled plus . . .
* 20 extra points for picking the Derby straight trifecta
* 15 for the straight exacta
* 10 for picking the winner
* 10 points for picking the last place horse
* 10 for the closest guess to the lengths he lost by
* 10 points for the closest guess to the official attendance

Also please share any info you may have on the race, the horses and news of the day (I need all of this I can get).

So sharpen your pencils and your horse racing minds but more than anything Enjoy the Day and Ga'luk to all!!!

Don, have you given any thought about whether to play the full 14 race card or to end our points contest after the Derby (Race 12)? It's not my call, but I would lean very heavily in favor of the latter choice.

Haven't looked into it yet but will tomorrow morning. I would tend to agree with your inclination.

Ruff, to answer your first question, you may use any wager on the Derby card or any race on the Derby card for your ROI. You may also play the Oaks/Derby Double but must post it before post time for the Oaks on Friday.

As for your posting of the extras, I'd recommend that you have them all on one
post so that Don doesn't need to search for them. However, you can always go back and edit or add to your initial post.

As far as memory is concerned, what was my name and what am I doing here?
