The winner gets 20 extra bonus pts for the year end total, 2nd place 15 extra points, 3rd 10 and 4th 5 if it all goes that far . . . usually doesn't. There hve been years when nobody gets anything.

Probably putting too much thought into this and unless I am having a senior moment, I think RQ said after last year's contest Don G. was the 5 time champ. Considering that, I think he is the Bob Baffert of points contests and therefore should receive 50 of my points. The other 50 I will give myself since I am the defending Champeen, although I am not exactly feeling the vibe this year. Breeder's Cup is a feast or famine thing for me and more likely famine than feast, but who knows, I could get lucky.
