![]() John Sterling hasn't had much opportunity to use his "back to back" call since it has been a while since the Yankees have hit consecutive home runs. There was once a time, but not lately.
I recall a Harry Belafonte version of the calypso song "Zombie Jamboree" from either the late 50's or very early 60's that featured the lines "back to back, belly to belly, well I don't give a damn cause it doesn't matter really". It had a rhythm at which Belafonte was a master - the kind of lyric that sticks in your head all day long. |
