![]() Looking like Belmont or Santa Anita. Right now Belmont, with The Woodward and The Champagne has the edge, although Santa Anita has three BC qualifying stakes races on the card??? And . . .
Just about 5 1/2 weeks to the Beeders Cup at Del Mar!!!

![]() I kinda like that idea. We've done it in the past. That would make an interesting and challenging 9 race card.

![]() Don, congrats on your points win on a day when some of the races were complete mysteries.

![]() Some of the fields for both the Belmont and Santa Anita stakes races are disappointingly small. It often seems to work out that way for major stakes races.
At Belmont, the Miss Grillo, the Champagne and the Woodword all drew only 6 entrants. At Santa Anita the City of Hope Mile only has a field of 5 and the Santa Anita Sprint Championship has 6. The rest of the stakes races at both tracks have fuller fields. |

![]() Well there's Laurel Park with 5 Graded Stakes and much larger fields. More of a challenge with more entries and a track we seldom. It should keep the scores down too.
I'm OK with Laurel's 10 race card. ![]() ![]()
