Default venue thoughts . . . for Feb 6

Well first off in my best Gomer Pyle voice . . . surprise surprise surprise!!! After looking at the races I was thinking I'm out of the money in Pts this week. Go figure.

Looks like a toss up between Santa Anita and Tampa Bay. The weather may determine where we go. What say ye???

Tampa always a challenging place to play. Don't think I've ever won a race there, but it seems to be the best for our contest. I think the Sam Davis would be one we would be interested in?

This time of year the quest for Derby and Oaks points is always of interest. Tampa Bay should fill that bill and be our best choice. Like Cal I can seldom find a winner at Tampa but at least it will be warm.

I need warm. ROI results probably won't be posted until sometime Wednesday. Hopefully I'll be dug out by then.

I know what you mean RQ. Had to remove well over a foot of snow this AM. At least the temperature is up.
