Default DerbyTrail Contest for Winter

I suggest a handicapping contest to get throught the winter. Many here think they are great handicappers and have advice for eveyone, but put up or shutup.

Each player gets a bankroll of $1000 and can wager no more than $200 per week. You can wager at any track. You must risk atleast $100 per week. This means you can miss days and it doesn' matter, but you will have to deduct $100 if you don't play anything.

You can score things and update the leadersboard yourself. It is make believe and only an idiot would cheat. Anyway I am sure the people at the top will make sure to check others.

Who is in? We can start next Saturday which gives people time to sign up.

We can make it interesting and have everyone chip in $5 which they don't have to pay until the winner is declared and the money can go to them. If you don't want to put up $5 then you don't have to. I trust everyone here can send the winner $5. Of course this is optional and not gambling.

Rev,
I'd love to... but I'm not sure how much interest you'd get.

According to half to people on this board- "Racing is over after the Breeder's Cup". In their eyes, horses go to their caves and hibernate until woken up for the Gulfstream meet. If you ask them questions about the 5K claimers still running at Mountaineer, they just look at you blankly.

A bankroll contest is a good idea for the Holiday Period... Revo, have at it... Set it up on the Contest page!
