Thanks for posting it. Such a nice horse. Too bad one of his owners really ruined what should have been a moment of pure class for our sport. I'm not meaning to hold on to something bad or not be open to his apologies or whatever... it's just that I live here and there hasn't been too much, that I've noticed, about his homecoming like there should have been. Losing the Belmont is acceptable. He is with some good company there. ... but to stain the day and suck the joy from it so hatefully and bitterly? Sorry for the rant. I will always be a fan of the horse but never of the owners. Applause for the Tonalist connections for their exemplary grace. |
