Default Does Hough Get As Much Out of Discreet Cat?

You know I've been thinking about what it would've been like had Hough kept Discreet Cat. What would have gone on last year, Breeders Juvy no doubt? Maybe a run at the Triple Crown? Or would he have run him too many times too young and the monster that he is now wouldn't have been realized. I like Hough a lot, but what has he done on the Triple Crown trail of late? Thoughts?

You have to wonder what the sheiks are doing over there. The horses go to Dubai and come back as superhorses. Then they kick Brass Hat out because of some minor issue.

Look at Henny Hughes. He came back looking twice the size he did before. Muscled up like Arnold Swartznegger (sp?) or something.

They sure as hell aren't feeding 'em cornflakes.

No it wouldn't have. That horse was a monster when he debuted at Saratoga. I almost get the feeling that they knew he was a monster, knew he would get gagillions of dollars for him if he won like that. The only thing I will say is that if the horse were here, he could have been pressed into the Triple Crown and they could have ruined him, otherwise, the horse would still be a monster

Exactly and everyone would say "Discreet who?"

I think he may have been real tough at 2, but I'm not sure he would've been campaigned as well at 3. Kind of like what Scavs said.
