I'm surprised that Irad went with the 1 as I thought he would get the trip the 8 got behind the 3,4,5 dueling it out for the lead.

Lukas always seems to have a 1st time turf starter put over at the Spa meet and I think that Canadian Winner just might be that horse.

What a ride by Corey Lanerie on Fiftyshadesofgold. Clearly demonstrates why he should never get a quality mount at the Spa. What a doucebag.

Good thing they brought up Lanerie for the mount. Rode the race as if he had a prerace agreement with Rosario that he'd let him through. Sigh.
