Default Derby / Oaks locks and longshots

For the sake of using a horse who isn't 6/5 on the m/l (although I do think Wise Dan is the lock of the weekend), I'll go with...

lock - Birdlover in the Edgewood

longshot(s) - Falling Sky in the Derby, Princess of Sylmar in the Oaks

Who wants to go next?

Thought about playing a pick 5 tomorrow because I initially thought I could single Rumor. Second guessing myself though...0-2 at 7F is that a fluke or can it be excused?

Please note I said "sentimental lock". My cattledog in my avatar is named Rumor.

I remember reading somewhere Mandella saying if Rumor feels like running, she usually wins. I'm hoping she feels like running Saturday.

Default Derby/Oaks locks and longshots

I don't expect anything like the 15/1 ML on POLITICALLYCORRECT in the 9th, but I do expect a big closing effort off the layoff for Ward/Rosario. The pace in here should be blazing, and Joel will be roaring down the lane.
