Default Fireside Chat with Kasept

Gang,

Kasept is a revered figure here at DerbyTrail.

He’s made us laugh. He’s made us cry. He brings joy, rarely anger.

Relentless in his pursuit to spam the homepage with his handicapping opinions and the threads with obscurely used big words, Kasept remains a consistently well liked figure.

In fact, from now on, we ask that anytime you "like" a post -- you reward it with 10,000 Byk bucks.

It is DerbyTrail.com's answer to the ever so popular "like button" feature that has been so successful for Facebook.

Without any further ado, let’s get right to it, shall we? And please, don’t be shy to join in and ask Kasept anything you want.

Who, in your opinion, is the best guest to interview in 'At the Races with Steve Byk?

We know you enjoy cooking. Tell us, your last meal on planet earth. What do you choose to eat?

What has been your most memorable moment in the last ten years?

If you could physically deck one current DT poster across the face, who would it be? Honesty is welcome.

Greatest movie of all-time?

Your favorite TV series?

Better poster, Indian Charlie or King Glorious?

What would you be doing for a living if not your current work?

- The New Team

KG is one of the three or four best posters on all of DT!

That's not a fair question.

Those that qualify on that front get decked metaphorically via Admin darting. The most recent was very satisfying.. a long time coming to an authentic creep and proverbial bad guy.

There should be a sticky thread with all this info, a proverbial "dart board" if you will, who's been darted and for what offense. We have a right to know.

true, but if being a serial liar isn't enough to get you permanently darted I'll take my chances with my odd sense of entitlement.

My husband just got me the remastered Blu Ray edition. You and your wife are welcome over anytime.

We also got a karaoke machine. Just saying.

Who, in your opinion, is the best guest to interview in 'At the Races with Steve Byk?

Of the non-regular guests, any visit with legendary industry veterans mean the most to me.. John Nerud, Leroy Jolley, the recent visit with Lynn Whiting, ones like that. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to present the conversation with Breeder and Advertising Immortal Bill Backer earlier this year as well.

Of the regulars and semi-regulars, I think the segments with Andy are great. He makes me laugh every week to the point I frequently have to mute my mike. I need to be well prepared for Jay Privman and think his segments are nearly always outstanding. Nick Luck's ATR visits are usually pretty special as I only need to tee it up for him.

We know you enjoy cooking. Tell us, your last meal on planet earth. What do you choose to eat?

Shockingly simple.. A meatloaf/mac & cheese kind of meal.

What has been your most memorable moment in the last ten years?

Tie.. Getting married and Ausable Chasm's Saratoga win. Both special for different reasons.

If you could physically deck one current DT poster across the face, who would it be? Honesty is welcome.

Greatest movie of all-time?

Gone With the Wind.

Your favorite TV series?

Homicide: Life on the Street

Better poster, Indian Charlie or King Glorious?

.. I/C.

What would you be doing for a living if not your current work?

Consumer Products brand creation. Still doing some food marketing work with Wegmans actually..
