AQUEDUCT

POST-SCRATCHES

4th: MSW, 2yo, 6.5f (P6, P3, DD)

As discussed Friday with Nick Tammaro, a potentially deep and treacherous group with 2nd out Clawback and Retrieve looking serious while 3rd timers Bad Hombre, Orb and Ithastobegeorge all appear capable. First time starters of note include Valid (Medaglia d'Oro), from KMc/Darley, a half to the G1SW Malibu Prayer and Rudy Rod's Vyjack (Into Mischief) who is half to MGSP Prime Cut (Bernstein)..

Most Likely: #7 Retrieve 7-2 3rd
Best Value: #3 Ithastobegeorge 6-1 6th
Next Best: #4 Clawback 3-1 2nd
Exotics Use: #6 Orb 5-1 4th

This has earmarks of a chaos event with 3-1 favorite Cinematize not all that special. Several here eligible for laurels including We Need V L T's returning to main and Here's Zealicious cutting back to three quarters after good 1m try cross town..

Best Value: #12 Here's Zealicious 6-1 11th
Next Best: #5 We Need V L T's 5-1 3rd
Exotics Use: #8 Cinematize 3-1 5th
Super Add: #1 Drinksonthehouse 10-1 2nd

7th: CLM, 3+, 1m (P3, DD)

Favored obvious players loom tough here, but if Giant Indian holds towards the liberal 8-1 ML, he's the key horse..

Exotics Use: #5 Stormy Acre 3-1 9th

CHURCHILL DOWNS -- SPOT PLAY

POST-SCRATCHES

7th: ALW/N1X, F&M-3+, 5f-T

Best Value: #10 PURE LEGACY 8-1: Late SCRATCH Werner trainee freaked a tad v. lesser MSW foes in muddy HOO debut and now steps up while moving to lawn. Simon Pure (8% first time turf) still feeling his way as sire (47 runners in 2 crops), but dam Legacy's Silver (Robyn Dancer) dropped Ham Smith trainee Perfect Measure who is solid lawn sprinting ALW miss. Viable price shot against middling group..
