![]() The "Ladies"Classic may be the most competitive, most accomplished field ever assembled in one race!
Tell me when you had 3 Breeders' Cup champs with an additional runner up(Grace Hall) 8 multiple Gr.1 winners and every horse a multiple graded winner with one exception(Class Included)who record is 16-10-6-0 never worst than 2nd! ![]()

![]() I would think that wins in the specific BC race would trump wins in other BC races, especially Juvenile events. It isn't like 3 winners of the Ladies Classic are lining up to face off this year. With that in mind, the 1988 Sprint and Mile have to be in the mix since both of those races contained two past/future winners of the same event.

![]() How about the Jockey Club Gold Cup in 1978 with Exceller, Affirmed, and Seattle Slew? Or the 79 version with Affirmed, Spectacular Bid and Coastal?
The Ladies Classic is a very good race but the idea it is the best group of horses ever assembled in crazy. Paul |

![]() What sucks about this thread is because the premise is so flawed you are force to not talk about what a rock solid field of Distaffers have been assembled and instead shiiit on the the premise of the post.
