Betfair Hollywood Park ''Just for Fun''
Online Handicapping Challenge Thursday is the first day of a new meet (and a new name) for Betfair Hollywood Park -- and of a new Play-for-Fun Online Handicapping Challenge here at http://www.dmtc.com/. The contest begins on Thursday, April 26 -- and winds up on closing day, July 15, leaving you ready to play our for-real contest when Del Mar Opens on Wednesday, July 18. Play up to $100 in contest dollars each day to win, place and/or show on each day's contest race. There aren't any fancy prizes or anything, just the chance to test your handicapping skills against a group that includes everything from novices to some of the top handicappers around. It's always free to play and no money actually changes hands. You can sign up for the contest using your existing online profile. Hollywood Park "Just for Fun" contest..
Yeah, I got overhauled on the next to last day when the ultimate winner picked the 20/1 shot with $100 on it (the only way to tackle this kind of contest). I had a 7/1 shot in the last race to go for the win, but it was not to be. Congrats to the winner and all who played!
