![]() There is no handicapping angle where I can see that you could put any money on this horse. Congrats to Gary, but that is honestly a head scratcher. I do know that I don't ever want to put a dollar on a horse coming out that race.

The dam was a marathoner sired by Kissin Kris. All of her wins came routing. The sire, Prime Timber, was a closing 4th beaten like 2 lengths in the Kentucky Derby. Today was the first time this horse ever attempted a route. You also have Sciacca's trainer stats on the bottom -- where the only recent area of strength has been with stretch-outs. Still...even with projected improvment...that horse was way too slow to bet. Never ran a fig above 49 in those dirt sprints...and five others in the field had run figs in the 60's this year. The horse ran a 70 today to narrowly hold on. Not a bad type of horse to use for 3rd and 4th...but if you're banking on 20 point move-ups based on pedigree to narrowly win, you're going to see some giant losing streaks. |

![]() Congrats! The analysis is reasonable but there just aren't enough hours in the day to uncover that.
