![]() For the record, I wouldn't want to do any list like this right now.
Between the 43 horses included in either his top 12 or knocking on the door section ... that fast Eddington horse Secret Circle isn't one of them. He would probably be post time favorite in a 9 furlong match race over all but two or three names...and would beat atleast half of them badly. It's basically just a great big hunt for lightly raced slowpokes with stamina pedigrees. Some are sure to develop and improve -- the ones who won't you'll never hear much from again. Sabercat is in the top five -- and his career highlight is winning an 84 Beyer race at Delta Downs where he got a nice setup. He did manage to run 3 points faster than the Oklahoma bred filly Remington shipper who took the Delta Princess with an 81. |

![]() I'm not sure Sabercat should be in the top five for the Oklahoma Derby futures list.

![]() A maiden wins the Sam Davis at Tampa. He was cross entered in a MSW race.
Three horses who still have the N1X crossed the wire 1-2-3 in the Bob Lewis -- all were double digit odds and the dominating 40/1+ winner was going to run in an N1X alw race on Thursday, but the owner talked the trainer into running in the Bob Lewis. Alpha was a little bit wide -- but he hasn't shed his case of the slows. A horse off of three straight figs in the 64-to-68 range plugged home 2nd. Really superb stuff. |
