Default The world according to DRF

Why bother getting the name of the horse right when they don't know where Singapore is?

Hong Kong: Gitano Hernandez scores front-running victory in Singapore Gold Cup

I know you're not defending it...

I'm sure you know this... it's the SIA Cup (Singapore International Airlines) and not the "Gold Cup".

It's Hernando.

Hong Kong has nothing to do with Singapore.

God forbid they mention the KrisFlyer and Rocket Man winning it...

I mean why bother giving Singapore any press when it's their national treasure who finally won it on his 3rd try (he was 2nd the last two years) and Waikato... ths was his 4th time I believe (?)... he's usually 4th but dead heated for 3rd.

Come on give the locals a little mention... right?

Too many errors. It's not right. Someone should have caught these things or I mean why even bother reporting any of it?

I think it's also pretty clear now that Alan Shuback was let go and they seem to have heaped the international beat on Marcus Hersh, who I'm sure is also doing many other things with Arlington, etc.

Singapore, for what its worth, is the biggest up-and-coming jurisdiction for racing, in the world, and I think most US-players would absolutely love to get their hands on betting there.

I always liked Shuback, sad to hear they are no longer using him.
