I think the training center has simulcast.

No luck, bud. Only OTB's are in podunk towns far out in the state. Not sure if Trackside stays open for Hollypark.

The Trackside OTB at Poplar Level in Louisville is currently closed. Per the simulcast schedule, the Trackside facility at Churchill Downs will take advance wagering on Hollywood Park. Not sure what time they close, but there is a concert tomorrow night at Churchill Downs that starts at 8:15pm and will go until around 10:00pm.

Default 1st Churchill trip/random thoughts and observations

Leave Roanoke at 4:54 am

-6.5 hour drive with no coffee for the first 5.5 hours equates to a very long morning, but with a bladder the size of a mustard seed, I had no desire to add 5 bathroom breaks and another 1 hour drive time to the day.

-The State of West Virginia felt compelled to keep me awake by having me stop every 30 miles along a 90 mile stretch of I-77 to bend me over and take some toll money. Total cost = 3 horse $1 exacta box. C*cksuckers...

-After watching a total DB on a crotch rocket, weave in and out of morning traffic in Charlestown, WVa, it's a wonder the fatality rate for them isn't higher.

-Find a lot of humor in the fact that there is a Bible College and Southern "X"posure Gentlemans Club off the same exit. Wonder how many of them boys sneak over to the club...

-Intestate 64 connecting Ashland and Lexington is the longest, most boring drive...ever

-Beautiful scenery between Lexington and Louisville, though.

-Churchill Downs seems nice, but can't hold a candle to Saratoga. The neighborhood near the Gate 10 parking is sketchy...at best. Still a great day to be at the track with nice weather. It was great to pay $3 and park my ass in seats right at the finish line. I won't mention any names, but a certain Capt. Obvious informed me everyone was in Maryland this weekend.

-Beautiful women everywhere

-My handicapping sucks as bad on track, as off.

Captain Obvious has another message for you.
