Default Dishnetwork Horseracing channel

Has anyone purchase this feed from Dish Network? My understanding is; this is the replacement for the special dish you had to purchase years ago to get the direct feed of the racetracks which includes Harness and Greyhound racing feed.

I see Dishnetwork is offering this for $50 per month and I am really thinking about getting it. I always have a problem with online feed crashing on big race days and it's just too much damn talking on TVG and HRTV.

Yeah. I really want to pay DISH an extra $600 a year, and deal with all their CONTRACT BULLSHIT, because TS, presently providing ALL the live feeds I could ever want, crashes once a year. This sounds like the way go. Next, I'm going to start paying $5 a day (or whatever it is) for DRF pps, rather than getting the BRIS for free.

Thanks Hockey, I have not spoken with anyone who has it and was wondering if it's worth getting. I rather spend the 50 bucks so I won't have to listen to TVG touting picks from clowns who never hit a horse that paid more than 5-2.

I just called Dishnetwork and they are shipping the receiver I need in order to get the feed. Just in time for Saratoga and Delmar.

I dont understand why anyone would pay 50 bucks a month for live track feeds. Hit the mute button on HRTV/TVG and watch the race or just watch the races online.

I won't pay 1 cent, let alone $50, to view races I already pay 20% to bet on.

Have had RTN (Race Track Network) for two years. It is the only way to bet horses from home comfortably. I have three TV's on the wall and two receivers hooked to RTN with different signals. You know how much time to post so you shouldn't ever get shut out and the only talking comes from the host tracks (ie: Andy from NYRA). No jumping from track to track that you have to put up with from TVG and HRTV. Computer feeds are fine but I prefer the larger screens on TV's. Well worth the investment to me.
