![]() opinions?
Looks like there might be a speed battle up front between Afrashad and BCH. Last year it looked the same way but Pomeroy drew off and ran huge. War Front looks versatile enough to stalk in 3rd but Mass Media and Judith's look like they will come late. I think it sets up for one of these 2. Any thoughts? |

![]() Not that my handicapping abilities warrant ANY consideration. . .
I was very impressed with Afrashad on Belmont day. . . I also like smoke glacken as a sire. . . based on speed figs and fractions from their previous races, I think Afrashad could get in to a speed duel with BCH and still hang on to win. . . he's also third off the layoff so he may not have even raced his best yet. . . it looks like he could be a monster I actually also like Judiths Wild Rush. . . shipping from Woodbine- not sure if he'll like toga but there's no real way to tell that until the race I guess. . . looks like he might get a nice stalking trip from the rail. . . good works and 3rd off a layoff War Front looks scary too. . . look at those workouts at Toga!

![]() 1 - Judiths Wild Rush - Plenty fast here and generally come over the border. He is plenty fast enough, 3rd race off a 2 month layoff, and is plenty consistent, racing style will fit race setup perfectly
2 - Mass Media - Was suppose to be knocking boots but I have a feeling no one was using his phone number. Another where is plenty fast with huge numbers at Duct and also at Toga, 3rd off a LONG layoff, you get Javy, who wins 35.4% of the time with Frankel, another where style suits race setup well 3 - Afrashad - absolulely FREAKED in his last race, not sure if 40 days off is enough for such a huge performance, runs his number and he wins for fun but I am guessing he will move back, is getting weight from almost everyone which will help, odds will probably be brutal though for what seems to be a speedy race, I think you either single in the multi-race exotics, or you use 2nd in exactas with JWR and MM 4 - Thunder Touch - Have absolutley no idea why he is here, numbers back from 05 at Toga are somewhat competitve but his last three this year have been brutal 5 - War Front - Complete toss for me. Horse ran his eye balls out last time, which was off a 5.5 month layoff, only getting 27 days off, screaming regression and possibly an all out bounce. It seems like with the Chief that he either wins the race by open lengths or runs off the board, in my experiences when I play him....play in the tri for 3rd if you are playing it but throw out of exactas/multi-race exotics 6 - Bishop Court Hill - was scratched out of a race at Monmouth last week for this spot which is obviously encouraging from Pletcher, who spots well. Slighty below fig wise and with all the other speed in the race, questionable Exactas 1,2/1,2,3,6 Win money on Mass Media Multi race exotics with MM and JWR Last edited by Scav : 08-11-2006 at 03:16 PM. |
