Off topic a bit...
Tommy's Luck, winner of the nightcap yesterday at Del Mar looked like a steal at 22.5k. He was claimed by Mullins for Robert D. Bone. He was ridden out, but he sure looked like a bargain covering 6 panels in 1:09.75. Does anyone know how many potential claimers tried to get him?

They are always running that horse for what appears a lower tag than he's worth. He must look like he's gunna break anytime, and they don't want to get stuck. Didn't he romp the 1st time that Melody Conroy trainer ran him for a tag? Must have an ugly tendon, or something. People keep wanting to cash in their chips, and go.

(had the "lite" version @ Presique Isle 4th July weekend), Stroh's (haven't had that in 15 yrs.), "Red, White and Blue" (not Pabst, but the stuff that Grand Union sold), Old Milwaukee ("It doesn't get better than this" trademark commerical), Schlitz (making a comeback! with original brewing ingredients), Hamm's (once....a long time ago) and most recently Lone Star, got it Poughkeepsie at the best beer store I've ever seen; Half Time. But, Yuengling doesn't deserve to be on this list.....the draft is great! ![]()
