Default SAT - Million Day Card

As expected a great betting card on hand for Million Day. The day is loaded with turf racing (7 out of 12 races) and the weather looks like it will cooperate as well. The 1st, 3rd, and 5th races are Maiden Special Weights, so you’ll have to take a peak at the toteboard for backstretch steam. Competitive fields make up the rest of the card and there are opportunities to receive some return on your investments. Let’s give it a shot.

Arlington Park – Million Day

R1 – MSW 28K

#2 Big Al Cordes
#3 Uno Mas
#9 Contention
#5 Bearpath

R2 – Alw32.5K N1X (Turf)

#3 Loh Collado
#7 Rojo Sol
#2 Williamson Entry (Love Handles the stronger half)
#4 Candy Doll (Chi)

R3 – MSW 28K (Tough race to decipher and the answer might be on the toteboard)

#5 Good Feeling
#9 Sheltered
#10 Altar Rail
#4 Tasley

R4 – Hatoof 50K (Turf)

#9 Return to Paradise
#7 Nijinsky Ballet
#8 Three Graces
#5 Pure Baby

R5 – MSW 28K

#4 Keertana – Took some cash in debut and gets a much better draw here.
#6 Witch Princess
#2 Greer Lynn
#9 Windmill Hill

R6 – Hatoof 50K (Turf)

#4 Cherokee Queen – Expecting her to bounce back to winning ways.
#6 Lucky Copy
#10 Tight Precision
#1 Seemingly

R7 – Forward Pass 50K

#3 St. Joe – Has shown an affinity to the poly and he looks to be long gone.
#5 Papa – Trying to make it 3 in a row at AP.
#6 Sebastian County – Has been solid and fits well here.
#8 Coach Ryan – Should be coming late for a minor share.

R8 – G1 Secretariat

#2 Winchester – Lots of changes for U.S. debut for excellent conditioner.
#6 Tizdejavu – No secret about his game plan once again.
#3 Plan – Regally bred colt beat elders in latest Group 3 at the Curragh.
#7 Your Round – Capable of spicing up the exotics.

R9 – G1 Beverly D

#4 Mauralakana (Fr) – (BEST BET) In top form since switching to the Clement barn and looks to sit a nice stalking trip.
#9 Cicerole (Fr) – Interesting Euro is definitely the mystery horse of the race.
#2 Rosinka (Ire) – Should be forwardly placed and gutsy enough to hand on for a piece.
#3 Precious Kitten – Her best races have been in Cali and I’m taking a stand against her.

R10 – G1 Million

#1 Archipenko – Razor sharp world traveler will try to conquer his 3rd continent (Dubai is in Asia) and connections having been pointing to this for a while. Class edge and electrifying turn of foot.
#6 Einstein (Brz) – Multiple G1 winner brings it every time.
#7 Mount Nelson – Coming off his biggest victory to date.
#5 Cloudy’s Knight – Loves the AP course, but needs to revert to last years form.

R11 – Ill Bred Alw30.5K N1X

#9 Lil Carmelita
#7 Song With the Wind
#5 Chuffed
#2 Flurtini

R12 – OC 62K/N$Y

#2 Tom Archdeacon
#3 Like an Eagle
#8 Dynaman
#6 Rotary

Happy Million Day

Good Racing Luck

Hockey, my day will heavily rely on her. I hoping to get 2-1 or better.

I think everyone is handing the Forward Pass to St. Joe.
I think it is the worst ML Ive seen in a while, SJ will be more like 9-5 than 9-2.

Dont underestimate Noble Hero. Im not sure he can hang with SJ early, but he never was asked to run at any point in his last race.
It could be a merry-go-round race with Noble Hero running 2nd.
Maybe Im a homer since I unloaded on him, loved the Blinks off and the move out of Dallas Stewarts' barn.

However, it looks like if Gus is ON today we will both be 'in the red'.

Good Racing Luck! VJ

Default Mauralakana

Mauralakana has been very impressive visually.

WHAT A TREMENDOUS TURN OF FOOT!

She'll be facing a classier group here and I'd look for her to go off at least 5/2.

Dreaming of Anna and Precious Kitten will probably take an awful lot of money. This is the best stakes race of the day as both the Secretariat and the Million are short of quality horses.

Gus--Thanks so much. Your selections in the last two races helped me hit a giant pick 4.

Aha! I've found one culprit responsible for cutting the payoff down for me.

Really though, glad you hit it

Long day at the office is right. I left my house at 9:30am and arrived back at 11pm after dinner.

Hockey, Nice hit
CSC, Great call on Spirit One
Ateam & Mclem, & Mike (Declan) Thanks
Paul, I'm glad I helped you out
GBBob, you got my day started in the right direction.

Well, remember what I said about checking out the toteboard in the (3) MSW races. GBBob gave me the #1 horse in the 1st race as I walked into the Park. He was 20-1 ML and went off at 5-2.

I spent the day with family and friends, also had the pleasure to meet a number of DT'ers for the 1st time (Phil, Cannon, Brock). Also, great to see Scav and GBBob again. Mauralakana made my day at the windows.

Only a true gambler can appreciate this, my family and friends wanted to leave after the Million race. I told them that the wait for our vehicle at the Valet would take 30minutes and the 11th race was only 18 MTP. The rest is history as I was right on with my selections in Race 11. Wow the Euros invaders really showed their class today.

Default Impressive card play

Very nice full card play indeed Bogey. I noticed you caught the exacta and trifecta in the 11th straight up, with a $68.60 pay on the exacta, and $381.00 on the trifecta. A $2 wager on all of your selections including straight up Win, Exacta, Trifecta and Superfecta plays, would have cost $96 total with a return of $405.20 Over 300% profit on wagers. An excellent job of handicapping for sure.
