Just wondering if a horse claimed for less then $10k has ever won a Grade 1 race? If so, what is the cheapest claim to get the job done?

I think Dearest Trickski cost around that amount and won a grade 1 and grade 2 this past year. It can happen.

debonair joe was actually a fast race horse who just never wanted to win, I guess it was just a matter of finding the right trainer
