Default 4/29: Churchill Downs (R7-10)

Derby Week kicks off with a middling card that improves late for the Quad. Note what may be the best and unluckiest maiden in America in the 7th: #6 Ready in the Morn (5-2). 12/0-5-0 in career for $42k, and has run into Pyro, Unbridled Vicar, Dr. Nick, Nownownow, One Hot Wish, Lantana Mob, Sir Jock and more. Has run Beyers in the mid 70's thrice and 82 once and cannot find circle, and though dropping in for $50,000 today could STILL get beat...

Steve, I know you're at Churchill, but do you or anyone else know of how we can wager on any of these?

Xpress, and everyone else are digging in vs the horsemen, hopefully something gives. Its my understanding that other than the Oaks and the Derby, you can only wager on CD at CD.

Between this and them eliminating the .10 supers, its pathetic. One of the most poplar wagers and the kill it on racings biggest day, amazing.

I understand the waiting issue, but make it so you can't play them at the track, allow it for phones and online wagering and the computers at the track. Especially with a 20 horse field, could have lead to huge Super Pools, and tremendous payouts!!

You would think they would try to embrace and expand the fans, rather than being so petty and stupid!

Just my two cents for what its worth

Can you wager on Churchill at local track simulcasting? I mean I was going to go to Keeneland to bet Churchill....can I? I thought it was just the on-line systems that were blacked out.

The whole thing is really confusing. I am on a 8PM flight to Vegas tonight and I assume I won't have any trouble betting CD out there but who knows.
