AND, I just saw that Frankel runs a top almost 40% of the time, turf to dirt. A top and she is the winner here Last edited by Scav : 04-08-2008 at 09:25 PM. |

![]() I am one of those that look over yours and Steve's and Bigs selections every day and don't post much
Just wanted to say hi and thank you guys for your insights. I have been playing the horses for 30 years and since joining Derbytrail, have changed my betting style do to your styles and advice. I now pretty much play pick 3's and 4's exclusively, and have a much healthier bankroll than i used to. My home track is Fort Erie, and i spend my summer there, even though i now need a passport to go to the track, but i can't wait to put what i've learned from you guys in action. Thanks again and know i appreciate all the work that goes into your picks and postings. Good luck and good health... Mike9J |

![]() Glad to hear the handicapping/bankroll has improved for you Mike9J.
Don't listen to me here, this is Hooves Country. Doesn't mean I can't try.... ![]() Early P4 2 - 1,2,3,5 (4 - Laver looks like he could be a good one with a bit more distance) 3 - 1,3,5 4 - 4,8,9 5 - 2,6,9 $54 on a $0.50 wager. GL Last edited by Bigsmc : 04-09-2008 at 12:43 PM. |

What a nice compliment this is to everyone that contributes their insight at DT. It means a great deal to me to hear that people have done well or improved their enjoyment of the game via the website. I also know that those that make their raceday opinions public here appreciate hearing that it is time well spent. Continued success and don't be shy about 'mixing it up' with the Trail faithful... Regards, Steve

HOUGH was absolutely beside himself that this horse still has nuts. Hough can't believe that HTB's been around 2 years (a 4 year old) and has eluded getting clipped. He'll get right on it after today's race, win or lose. I mean, what would George Odom think. |

No buzz horse in here. 7-2 favorites with 7-1 being the longest shot on the board at 2mtp. |

![]() Race 3:
The only reason I threw the 1 in there is that I thought he'd have a 5 length lead down the backstretch and maybe could hang on. What was Leparoux doing/thinking? It was his only shot. Instead he slows it down, let's the 3 get to him and the horse packs it in. |
