![]() Pick 4
Race 7: 8 - Zavata's Trick - May have figured the game out in her last. 1 - My Grecian Goddess - Draw a line through her last, the field was strung out and Centeno did not push this one. 2nd $1 Ex. paid $18.70 5 - Unconditional - Was getting to the great Bubble Berry in her last. Plenty of pace to run at here. Won - $12.40 4 - Silver Standard - Chased BB but could not close the gap. 2nd off for Scace. Race 8: Decimated by the move to dirt. 2 - On a High Cloud - One of only two in the race with a dirt win. Bullet on the 21st shows surface will be no problem. 2nd $1 Ex. paid $13.30 1 - Forbid the Queen - Confirmed hanger got it done in her last. Maybe the switch to Ronnie Allen Jr. was the elixir. 3rd $1 Tri. paid $31.10 4 - Miss Hobie - The other dirt winner. Needs a form reversal, picks up Centeno. Won - $10.80 Race 9: 1 - Golden Trend - Plenty of pace to run at here. Draw a line through the turf try and this one is razor sharp under Scav's boy Velez. 6 - It's Dom's Turn - Has the ability and speed to sit right off the pace and get first run. Won - $31.40 5 - El Aviador - Switches to Allen Jr. Will appreciate the added furlong. 2nd $1 Ex. paid $126.10 Race 10: 7 - Anjiz Crypto - Catch me if you can. 2 - Magazine Lane - Takes the plunge and gets Centeno who will need to find racing room from the rail. Won - $4.40 3 - Nav Quatorze - Not sure what running style this one prefers. His form is spotty at best but this is only his third start for Ziadie and maybe he is still trying to figure this one out. Can't leave Ziadie off in a garbage race. 8 - Economist At Last - Off two years, just the type to win this race. Has the speed to lead them the whole way if he is ready. 9 - Waving Monarch - I can't endorse this one that looks good on paper. 2nd off a year layoff for a 7yr old is not the worst thing, but two races in 7 days? I am counting on this one to regress as an underlay for shaky connections. Small Ticket: 1,8/1,2/1,5,6/2,3,7,8 = $48 Large Ticket: 1,4,5,8/1,2,4/1,5,6/2,3,7,8 = $144 paid $1,848.30 GL Last edited by Bigsmc : 04-08-2008 at 03:58 PM. |

![]() The camera at Tampa is before the finish line so when the horses hit the wire, the outside horse always looks better because they have run past the camera.
The only camera that is right on the line is that slo-mo shot they give you after the race. Who was on that very nice pick at 23-1 Bid? Forget it, I'll answer because Scav needs to know that it was Velez. Tough break on the dead heat, nice pickin. |

![]() Outstanding work, Bigs! Wish I was at track today instead of the "old salt mine".
