What do you guys make of Benny?
He looks like the class of the field to me, his four works this year are all sharp, and there should be enough speed to set it up for him.

I spent all of 60 secs on it and Mach Ride looks like a standout to me too. Perhaps I will change my mind when I look at it more on Friday.

I will take Praying For Cash. Cutting back in distance, 2 bullet works back to back, 1 win and 1 3rd at the 6 furlong distance, getting the services of Johnny V, Kiaran is 23% with horses off a layoff of 90+ days. M/L odds of 6-1 isnt too bad either.

You dont think Bushwacker will be a pace factor?

Bushwacker's post is too far outside to make the lead, he really likes too rub the rail for his best running.

I completely agree that Bushwacker has no shot at winning the race, and is unlikely to hit the board.
But I still think he will be a pace factor. What else can he do? He always just runs the opening half in :44 1/5 and trys to hang on.

You're not being a dick, you're trying to be helpful, as obviously Mr. Umphrey is completely uncompetitive, and only entered as a precautionary rabbit for Benny the Bull.

You don't think his 11/7 race beaten a head by Chatain was competitive going 23 the last 2f? That's a finish of 11 2/5 and 11/3/5. I'm saying that's pretty good. What am I missing?

I think Cannon Shell is right. I think the outside horse is certainly going to go for the lead.
Speaking of that one, he is quite the workout horse isn't he? You don't often see eight straight bullets that are:
1/16
1/40
1/102
1/19
1/18
1/31
1/40
1/72

Default Wise guy horse

I pretty much agree with everything said thus far and was getting to copy Lava's post and say same for me...then I looked again, and I know I'm crazy but if Mr. Umphrey runs his best, he'll be there.

Why? Well, right or wrong I like to look at times run from 4f to 6f and he's got two sub 24 second times, one at a route race. No one else has that and if the pace is strong and the leaders burn each other out, even a little, and he's got run at the end, then he's got a shot.

Am I crazy?...oh, I already said I was.
