Hello People I am really enjoying reading the posts on Derby Trails. I played the ponies from about 1970 to about 85. I got back into it about 8 years ago. I believe in keeping an open mind and always learning. Some of you people are pretty sharp. Good Luck, Kenny P

Top reasons people quit playing horses:

Nervous breakdown

Bankruptcy

They owe too many people too much money and therfore shy away from the usual hangouts.

They get married and wife/husband doesnt put up with it.

They start pursuing healthier alternatives to going insane.

Move to a state where they have no tracks or what we here in Saratoga call "Toy Tracks", tracks that are just unplayable.

Welcome. The chat is nice and there are good people here, but the radioshow is really what you want to listen to.

If you don't have Sirius you can listen here
