Default Pro-cott set up against ADW- 8/25

http://news.bloodhorse.com/viewstory.asp?id=40381

We are also planning a boycott for the end of September to show them that we are united.

Bet Albq and bet it hard on Saturday.

The above thread at Pace Advantage talks about the boycott and procott

TVG and Youbet are essentially married right now. Youbet doesn't want to piss TVG off because of a long term relationship, but they don't want to pay the cash to Tracknet.

If TVG loses the NYRA contract, they would be screwed.

its not open ended ..maybee your boycott could include tvg/you dont get to bet....they are holding the world to a edge of a building you go with tvg /you bet both of whom are not available in all parts of the usa..nyra must do something............

This has ZERO to do with the NYRA. Honestly, I totally understand why these tracks signed exculsive contracts with TVG way back when. They didn't know what they were dealing with in TVG and 'trusted' them to deal in good faith. The fact is that TVG needs to get their act together and quick or it is possible they won't be around, especially if the NYRA doesn't renew their contract.

Default I'd call this a success: ~80% increase in off track handle

The initial wagering protest involved focused betting on the Aug. 25 card at The Downs Racetrack & Casino at Albuquerque. The group claimed victory, saying its influence was felt in helping raise the off-track handle 78.6% to $126,057 from a $70,596 total recorded at the track Aug. 17.

“Unofficially, today's handle was the highest of the meet,” the track’s racing secretary, Stuart Slagle, wrote Aug. 25 in a post on PaceAdvantage.com
