![]() Don't listen to what one person thinks is a good card compared to another. You're there to tour the track right? Eventhough it's not running, you can probably tour Gulfstream (Miami's winter track), and the Hialeah (what used to be a Miami staple).
Also, it's live racing, so who cares. I put up with Canterbury. The person who tells you racing is bad is just telling you there there's no graded stakes going. Which is probably true, but don't you want a good betting races with a bunch of average claimers anyway? The only thing that might ruin your day at Calder, is it seems like clock-work they get a monsoon everyday between race 1 and 2 lol. So hopefully the rain will hold off while you're there, and have a good time!

![]() At least you'll see and can bet Saratoga while at Calder. But Scavs is right unless you want to jump on a plane the choice of what track to visit has been decided and it's Calder

![]() FMC,
On Sept 1, they'll run six stakes for $600,000 at Calder. All for 2 year olds. It's one of my favorite cards of the meet. As an aside, Calder is nowhere near the heart of Miami. |
