Those blinkers today were also ear muffs. She looked like a devil today as she took the lead....or a pinata, take your choice! For all her antics in the paddock today, it was obvious her mind was on the game once she was on the track pre-race. A great race to re-affirm the value in actually seeing the horses just before they run. |

I thought Joe Talamo also gave her a great ride splitting horses to the inside late. As far as Schrupp and Bray goes, it was pretty entertaining stuff. The line about the car being worth $500 dollars, and that is with a $100 bill in the glove compartment was hillarious. I had nothing on the race and I was rooting for the guy, and was it Michael Baze who dropped the F-Bomb? |

1st question, if she had been my selection pre-paddock....and then I waited to wager until after I saw her quickly settle in after hitting the track, I would have still bet her. Once at Bay Meadows I did NOT bet a first time on the track $300,000 or so purchase filly because of her paddock actions.....she had to be dragged kicking out of the tunnel. She still won the race. Important things in watching Spenditallbaby were she did not seem to cause herself any harm in the paddock, and then she immediately settled down when the towel was removed from her head. As to the F-Bombs, there were possibly two. The bettor was wired and let loose with a F**kin eh! after the loss. Then a few minutes later TVG aired the Michael Baze stretch and finish with the audio from the mike HE was wearing. They caught his in time to bleep it, but it sounded like he used the F-Bomb as an adverb as the race ended. |

![]() I was impressed with how Abrahms and Talamo handled that filly when she got upset. He got ran over and never got upset, Talamo never got nervous when she threw him. Then she went out and ran great.

![]() Barry Abrams is a life-long horseman -- and most people don't know that not only was he a standardbred trainer in NJ in his younger days, but he also trained a World Champion and very famous pacer named Guts.
