![]() Saw in the Blood-Horse that this track slated to open September 1st. Might be interesting to be there that first day, although I expect the handicapping to be tough (and it's a long drive to Erie). Not sure from where the horses will come and not sure how a Tapeta surface will play, especially if the horses are coming from non-artificial surface tracks. At a minimum, they've got to be giving away some nice goodies for the premiere.

![]() I'll be there with some. Supposedly maidens to run for 40k and up. Way better than Ellis or Turfway.

![]() Looks like its going to be a great place. The buffet dining overlooks the track. Will be a nice place to watch the races.

![]() I think it is going to be a booming place, and that there will be some money to be made up there. Nice purses will draw in some quality horses.
I am definately looking forward to the opening up there... |

![]() Yes, the track has the Tapeta surface (Michael Dickinson's surface).
Does anyone know who will be there -- trainers, jocks, etc.? I'd like to see what the condition book looks like -- however, based upon the geographics, potential quality of racing, surrounding areas, etc., there might be a great racing opportunities. Eric |
