DT Contest - The Finale
This is it folks, the final race of the 2007 Derby Trail Contest. As your host, it has been a pleasure - thank you for letting me run this fun and informative contest - it has truly been my honor
 Just a reminder, if the horse you picked earlier in this contest win the Derby, you will get a "10 times the earlier race payoff" bonus... for example, if Tiago wins the Derby, Saucon17 will get a $944.00 bonus (10 x $94.40) and he will win this game  Also, we are playing for prizes, they are:1st Place: A Trophy AND BRAGGING RIGHTS! 2nd Place: Autographed Rodney Stuckey photo (Eastern Washington University’s star basketball player that is expected to be drafted in the 1st round of the NBA draft this year) 3rd Place: Eastern Washington Football or Basketball shirt Finally, I also will be posting a Triple Crown contest. Any Given Saturday. I love the jockey switch to Gomez, i think he'll be able to get him into a good spot, even from the outside post.

Congrats to the Pais for a win marked by dogged consistency and the top finishers for a great effort..
COMMENT LINE: 'MRS P." broke alertly and on the pace from the break; persevered through multiple challenges; wore down foes through the lane while holding late chargers safe.. Thanks to Derby Cat for the extended period of entertainment.. Running these is a thankless task, but much appreciated by participants and those that watched from the stands!
