![]() I just saw in my Thoroughbred Daily News that GW is heading back to the track. I guess he has been entered for the G1 Tattersalls Gold Cup.

![]() I kinda figured it that would be the next thing we would hear. Heck since he cant breed might as well get some use out of him.

![]() I kinda liked this horse last year. Nice looking colt. I am happy they are going to bring him back. They shouldn't have retired him, but maybe now we can enjoy him for a few years of racing.

![]() I am really looking forward to seeing him this year. He was a great horse, just hate that the is sterile, but it does keep him on the track for a long time...

According to this; http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/othe...ng/6493173.stm He is not sterile, just has some fertility issues. George has 6 mares in foal to him. Looks like they will try him again at Stud after another season or so. I am looking forward to seeing him race again this year, as well. |

![]() Interesting. Thanks for the link.
I guess I had just heard that he was "sterile" so I assumed it was true. Wonder what the problems are? Not that the same is with GW, but I have always heard stories of these horses that just eventually grow tired of covering mares, which is interesting. Sort of the "Al Bundy's" of the equine world...
