gotta love the old timer. I'd be interested to see how My Dynomite does off the long layoff.. if he doesn't scratch from this race.

At first glance Touchdown Kid will be very tough.

The race may set up for Papua but he is a shadow of his former self.

I agree, not a fan of Papua to make it number 4.
TD Kid was very good last time.

Storm Boot Gold and Introspect are the two I am looking most to get it done here. Storm Boot Gold may be tough to catch tomorrow. If he does pack it in I think Introspect may be in the cat bird's seat. Rarely does he win but tomorrow may be his day.

You must have a different set of pps than I do.

Okay Contessa stinks with these kind of layoffs, but this horse has races good enough to win this race. Hes proven over the Inner and can certainly run this far. I'm not tapping out on him to win but I've seen crazier stabs.

My Dynomite scratched, makes it a lot easier for Storm Boot Gold today. Dutrow runs Ferocious One, I think hes way up against it in this spot...

Jan Rushton was on TVG earlier and said Touchdown Kid will race with an aluminum pad. There's no mention of this on Nyra's website.

Does TVG feel ANY moral responsibility allowing her to espouse her knowledgeless opinions on their network?

By the way, he raced with it last time ( and apparently it didn't bother him ), so that's why there was no mention of a change of equipment.

I still think it's morally reprehensible that she is allowed to give opinions over the air.

It does seem laughable, however I think she sorta fits right in on TVG for the most part. I have heard how great this channel was so I ordered it last month. There are a couple on there that make sense but for the most part you'd be much better off using DerbyTrail for racing analysis.

TVG has had her on before the races since last spring. I wasn't really paying attention to what she was saying. When I heard the words "aluminum pad", I hit the rewind button and heard her say TD Kid would be wearing them.

Thanks for the info, it's good to know he ran with them and had success.

Thank you for pointing it out.

I like TVG because they show NY racing and have all off So.Cal from May till the end of Hollywood. A few of the guys on TVG are good but for the most part I tend to tune out the chatter. Since I live 50 miles from the nearest track, it's better to have a channel which shows racing from the circuits I follow. It beats having to watch over the internet or going to OTB.

I agree that it surely beats the OTB. I guess I just got spoiled being able to watch any race live at any track that I chose. I keep TVG on but mostly with the sound off.
