If our legislature could figure out a way to tax internet gambling, the activity would suddenly become much less "immoral".

Come on onebad, its not that hard, you just can't do conventional transfers(neteller firepay). But their are still companies doing it Epassporte,ewallet, etc. You just have to look harder.

Try your local book. With most of them you can play on the net and settle up weekly in cash.
