That was the putover of the year so far in NY...congrats.

If anyone bothered to watch the horse's debut they might have asked themselves why a horse that appeared not to know how to run was as low as 12-1 in his debut. Then they might have wondered why he wasn't wheeled back in a maiden claimer. Then they might have really asked why he was being POUNDED at the windows, actually dropping as low as 6-1, before settling at 7-1.

I imagine the barn got fat. Good job. I'm just happy the Scav's and I were smart enough to get a little of it as well.

I didn't watch any replays or anything but when I saw him taking action again I figured something was nuts. I am just pissed the 6 couldn't hold for 2nd otherwise I would have had the exacta large also.....

I think we rushed him into his first race a bit. He didnt get his gate card till 3 days out and i kind of think his mind was fried a little bit about the gate. Ive never seen a horse so slow out of the gate. We had to regroup and did some hind end work on him and he seemed to pick up his training a bit. The biggest factor today was that the competition wanted no part of the distance. Hopefully this is a step in the right direction for him. I know the final time was horrible but they still gave us the money!!!
