I assume based on history the Derby winner has already had a start....
Probably lightly raced and started racing after July......

I am guessing Florida to KY/NY route....

Hey brockguy !

I hope they keep trying the Derby via Dubai so I will always have an automatic toss.

The winner will come from the Illinois Derby and pay $70+
The place horse will come from from Florida through Keeneland
and the show horse will be from California

Trifecta will be $24k minimum

I actually said after Barbican's win at Gulfstream on a fun thread similiar to this sort that the Derby would come down to the 4 B's...Barbican, Barbaro, Brother Derek & Bluegrass Cat, unfortunately by the time the Derby rolled around I didn't bet Barbaro & Bluegrass Cat.

will probably prep in FLA and then ship for one in NY/KY before the Derby....i like horses that take that path

Ky bred, prep at Fairgrounds and barely gets into the Derby field. He will come from the 9 hole and pay $18.80.
